Swinging into Summer ⛳️☀️ Let’s Go!

Make Golf More Fun This Summer + Tournaments, Camps & More.

Good Morning, Golf Parents!

As we swing into Summer, I have to say it’s been awesome seeing so many young golfers out on the course and ranges! Whether your child is just getting started or building on last year’s momentum, we’ve got some great ways to keep the learning, having fun and loving the game.

🏆 Here’s What’s Inside This Email:

  • Summer Golf Theme: Keep it fun

  • Tournament Reminder: Low-pressure, high-fun events for young players

  • Camps Update: A few spots left—don’t miss out!

  • Private Lessons: Just a handful of openings remain

  • Parent Tip of the Month: What to say after a tough round

Our Summer Theme: Keep It Fun! ⛳😄🍦

I’ve said it before and will keep saying it - kid’s learn to love the game when it’s FUN.

A few ways to help:

  • Let the little ones & new golfers tee off ahead - move them up to 200-150 yards out so a par seems doable for them.

  • End the round before they get tired or frustrated - especially the younger/less experienced. 9 holes is typically too exhausting for them.

  • Focus on the great shots. Don’t dwell on the bad ones

  • Grab a lemonade or ice cream afterward to talk about fun moments.

Taking time to celebrate the good shots, laugh at the funny moments and just being together—are what your kids will remember for years. Not the bad shots or frustrating moments.

And if they’re golfing with friends? Hand them a few bucks and let them go make those same memories together afterwards. It builds confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love for the game. 💚

🏆 TOURNEY TIME: We are TEN days out from our 1st 2025 Tourney!!

Please make sure you are registered before June 11th.

We will post tee times and rules on our website by June 12th. Most tournaments will begin at 8am, with the oldest groups teeing off first.

Our Let’s Go Golf Summer Tour is a great way for kids to get on the course and learn to compete in a low-pressure, encouraging environment.
They’ll walk away with:

  • A better understanding of scoring, rules & tournament flow

  • A handy cheat sheet with rules and etiquette reminders

  • LGG Hats will be awarded as well as various swag, prizes and more

  • Confidence on the course that grows with every round

  • New & strengthened friendships

We can’t wait to see you all again. Sign-Up Here!

💡 Parent Tip of the Month

What to Say After a Round (Even If You Didn’t See It)

Whether your child just finished their first 9 holes or their first 18-hole tournament, what you say afterward matters!

If you were there watching, keep it simple:
👉 “I loved watching you play today.”

If you weren’t able to be there, try this instead:
👉 “I’m proud of you for getting out there and giving it your best.”

👉 *Always Ask: “Tell me about your favorite shot or moment!”

These little comments go a long way. They shift the focus away from scorecards and toward confidence, effort, and fun—exactly what builds love for the game!
